Havana andMiami

I wrote, in my last post, about how Miami almost became a Mafia kingdom; you can see hints about how this may have occurred in the book, Havana Nocturne, by T.J. English. Miami would have been the mainland hub for the mob bosses in tax sheltered Cuba – Vegas on steroids.

The Trafficantes, mob family from Tampa, had operations in Miami and Cuba.. The Jewish mob member, Meyer Lansky, had an even bigger stake in Cuba. Fidel Castro kicked the mob out with his revolution and the original crime families, in Florida, leaving Trafficante and Lansky to sell their services to the US government. Assignation plots to knock off Castro became a business.

Socialism stunts growth, but capitalism also has a flaw. Bad men can profit too much from the capitalist system and cause harm. Socialism cause stagnation; which, also causes harm. People should worry less about the type of system and focus on ironing out the flaws of the system. Robots will push us into socialism and they may eventually kill us. Coin flip, anyone?
