I’ve been using Goggle Docs and I used the outline feature—this involved naming the scenes. Are the scene names a worthy addition to a published novel? They center a reader’s attention to the purpose of the scene so I may use them. How to typeset them is the other question that I must answer and this question makes me question whether I want to use them. Their visual appearance distracts me, but I may just need to tweak the presentation. The scene title could probably work as the scene break signifier without the use of an image or symbols.

I wish Google Docs had a Sigil add-on; if Docs created the outline by using the headings feature that Sigil uses; it would make the apps much more compatible.
