Mother Nature’s Payback is a B

Mother Nature appears to have a vengeance goddess in her employ. Hamilton Disston messed with Everglades and we have spent a lot of money trying to appease Mother nature, ever since. The Dis in Disston fits well as a Dis Pater allusion.

From Mother Nature to Human Nature:

Nemesis went after both Narcissus and Echo

Social activists need more awareness to the dangers of trying to manipulate human nature to their design. I made an attempt to communicate this to a Feminist activist. I doubt my point got through. I’m an intuitive feeler (an INFP) many Feminists don’t seem to understand a guy can do such a thing. I feel too much social imbalance in the world because people are trying to bend human nature to their will. Feminists appear to think present conditions favor White men, Miley Cyrus showed us what many of us knew; many White guys are not doing too well. Watch out Echo. Nemesis does not discriminate on gender.

Everyone wants to fight for their own in-group Many groups split in ideology but either don’t realize it or are to stubborn to split; I don’t know if Feminists are stubborn or deaf but I hear very opposite messages’ from different claimants of the Feminist cause.

No Virgins For Vulcan O

2~813

Vulcan (Hephaestus) had a rough love life. Most volcano gods get much more respect. The Greeks preferred pretty boys, but much of their mythology came from less vanity driven origins. Alexander the Great gets credit for turning the bull god, Apis, into Serapis because he wanted to unite religions under a handsome human face. He also shunned another aspect of Apis – the dwarf craftsman known as Ptah. People do not shed their gods, so easily but images do change over time. Ptah split into another craft god known as Hephaestus in Greece and Vulcan in Rome. His underworld aspects went to Plouton (which turned into Hades) and Dis Pater. Wonderful visions of the underworld also fell into the hellish versions we often see now. Ptah most likely had links to the geyser god, Enki. Volcano gods ejaculate lava rather than sweet water spit from loins of geyser gods. The image from my last post has a geyser layered over top of Christina Aguilera’s (Your Body) album cover; differs greatly from this volcanic splooge.

What in Hell

800px-Henryk_Siemiradzki_010-horz

The underworld sure did change. Orpheus sees flowers when he descends. Dante saw fire and ice. Hell went by another name during the days of Orpheus, but Dis apparently changed meaning. “Dis,” meant rich and Dis Pater (rich father) ruled the Roman underworld then Christ came along and froze his accounts. When  winter comes to Rome, spring goes to the Land Down Under though the Dire Straits. Heavenly hell wins Allusion Island in Myth versus Reality.

The Dwarf Giveth and the Dwarf Taketh Away

Two_Völuspá_Dwarves_by_Frølich-horz

Dwarves made Thor’s hammer; elves make Santa’s toys, little dudes do all the work, but watch out they may take it all away. It may go to back Ptah; it may go back to even older dwarven deities. The term “Pygmy” started out in myth. Scots had Pechs. Fairy folk also fit this peck sized picture of mythical beings. Dis Pater send out his Buds of May to spread his wealth to all his land. Thank the dwarf god; who gave us those made in his own image. Those little dudes with big hammers gave us more than we ever deserved.

Making Babies

anigif2ghost-pottery-wheel

What makes an iconic scene? Let’s take the Ghost scene in baby steps. The top of the vase in Demi Moore’s hand has semblance to a good size penis. Spread leg give more hint, but one last thing can be seen after the skin and the eye contact – the symbol of creation – the potters wheel.

Why, the naked blacksmith? Hephaestus made the first woman, Pandora, according to myth. Did Hephaestus hammer Pandora from an unknown nymph mother? Well, he was a blacksmith. Maybe, you can take MC Hammer’s Hammertime as a loving act of creation; maybe, you can’t. I use it to make a point about how the Egyptian god, Ptah, split into both Hephaestus and Pluto (The Greek chthonic fertility god  known as Dis Pater to the Romans. Ptah was a craftsman god, he also was a god of the underground. Dis Pater means “rich father,” as in riches of earth. He is the father of the buds of may, from my last post. I think Flora represents the nurse, not the mother. She fits in as a character on  the Parabiago plate, as seen on one of my first ever posts. I think gods and goddesses act like categories, Flora subs for one of the lovers when they wanted to fill the flower category. Flora is a subcategory of Proserpina (Persephone – Korē).

The Blacksmith gif comes from Wikimedia and Eadweard Muybridge. If you want to riddle out how Kismet brings Flora and the Dis of Disney; you can read about him and think about the the dis, Flora, and kismet tags on my blog.

The F-Words + P

Dionysos_Ploutos

Papa parts – padre’s peninsula – father’s fertility – Dis Pater means rich father and his phallus makes Prosperina (Kore / Persephone) bountiful.

Vase: Pluto (Dis Pater) holds his horn of cornucopia. Dionysus, the hide the phallus god, also known for his grapes and wine. A satyr holds up drunken Hephaestus and his hammer, Eros plays with his goose down below. See a few euphemisms? You often hear about the triple goddess, but pa plays many roles, too.

King Tut’s Pectoral: Ptah, seated on the right, divides into the Greek gods Hephaestus and Pluto (Dis Pater). Creation always has a link to the underworld and nature’s art spills onto the earthly plane. Ptah gives creativity to the king and Sekhmet, the lioness gives power. Osiris becomes Dionysus and the symbol of male fertility; he shows up in euphemistic forms. Apis the bull acts as one aspect of Ptah and often call him a dwarf.

The Prajapati in the last image share similar name plus show the power of creativity and fertility. You see an Apis like bull. Dwarfs and bulls often change places. They say the dwarf symbolizes ignorance, but it may have did a polar opposite switch. Hinduism makes calculus look easy. The caste associated with the Prajapati also may have links to Egypt’s Pottery Wheel god.

Am I right about the rites?

They called the rites the Mysteries and much stays a mystery. They had a Mafia styled priesthood that enforced a policy similar to the old saying, "What happened in Vegas -- stays in Vegas. " The Parabiago Plate does give hints to the event. Disponia was a, "She who shall not be named," type goddess; Desponia means, "The Mistress." I use the Roman name Dis Pater because it means, "Rich Father," and Desponia takes his wealth sends to Gaia, "Mother Nature." The dwarfs do the delivering. Those dwarfs were my primary interest because I was researching the Cabeiri. Some experts have called four of those dwarfs the, "Four Seasons," and the guys with shields the Corybante or the Cabeiri; I sort of disagree. I see five dwarfs and a smaller dude; plus those offerings do not match the four seasons. The Cabeiri and the Cornucopia appear in the myth about birth of Zeus, so I think the little dude is Zeus and the guys with the shieds are only part of the Cabeiri. The problem I have is that the Cabieri are often described as dwarfs and connect them to the Dactyls. Those guys with shields do not look like dwarfs, but the Cabeiri have links to blacksmiths and those dwarfs look nature related. The Karpoi may solve the riddle; they are mini versions of Dis Pater (Plutos) and serve Gaia, the wife of Uranus.I see these rituals as an interactive Caberet and the full cast is called the Cabeiri. The cast is formed by many groups like the Corybante, the Karpoi, and the Kuretes/Dactyls. The confusion came due to the hush, change in cultures, chage in generations and the mixing up of groups with sub-groups. The ritual shows how the names change but the cycle remains the same. Chronos castrates Uranus, and Zeus castrates Chronos. Demeter goes from Mistress to Mother as Kore (Persephone) takes her place as Desponia. It is a mate, mother, grandmother cycle. Poor Attis is the hapless dude who had his root cut. Theme: You have to sacrifice some of your best produce as seed or take cutting to continue the nature's life cycle.
