Seeking the brazen female version of Peter Dinklage

I’m certain my novels would sell if they had a proper marketing campaign and I believe it would make a bundle as a film series if it was cast properly. Daisy Earles (above) may be too Lolita-like for my main character, but my choice for the part would need some sex appeal and be brazen enough to use it. My use of a ‘coming of age’ storyline prodded me to use an underage star and I believe a fertility cult operating in our current era (as in my novels) would ignore age-regulating rules.

The biggest problem may be finding a good enough actress because of the smaller talent pool (no pun intended). Even if a larger proportion of dwarfs have superior acting talent than normal sized people; it still leaves few candidates. The brazen nature of my main character and the other cult members will scare away the prudish.

Personally, I just want to make a book trailer. A real dwarf or dwarfs, willing to partner with me, would be beneficial in many ways. Of course, a dwarf or dwarfs would aid in marketing my novels, but I believe I own a respectful reason for my usage of dwarfs and an endorsement would be helpful. History provides the reason for my use of dwarfs; such as the dwarf singer who actually played a role in the founding of St. Augustine; the Russian Royal  Midgets ( as explained in my post) founded a town in the Miami – Dade area of Florida; Daisy and her three dwarfs lived and died in Sarasota; and other dwarfs helped establish Gibsonton, Florida. I apologize if calling Florida a ‘Dwarf Graveyard”, but my state most likely has a winning proportion of dwarfs.

My dream cast for the scenes at Matanzas would include Johnny Depp, in three roles, as a Timucuan, Huguenot, and as a Conquistador. Peter Dinklage would star as the dwarf who came with Pedro Menendez and most likely a couple of other roles. Bridget Powers would get a chance to audition for my main character’s mother and hopefully win it. Any pornstar from Florida would get a chance for a role because I prefer a Florida link and they have the brazenness to handle the erotic aspects of fertility cult duty (+ I allude to a few in my name game). A girl of slight Asian appearance who can handle multiple accents and a skinny Black girl would be the other roles (the ages would need to be ranged near the main character. My dwarf has a hankering for tall girls, so a couple of Maria Sharapova types. The cult is made up of hoochie coochie girls and freaks, so circus folk are most welcome.

The Perspective of a Female Dwarf

The different perspective interested me and I didn’t choose my main character for exploitation reasons, I chose her for historical reasons and for purpose of perspective, she’s notably different—but the same. People are people, even if you’re a dwarf. A dwarf can have giant and heroic ancestors or they can be begotten from giant asses. I chose many, historically notable, ancestors. for my dwarfish anti-hero. That’s what makes her complex.

Alice, aka Al, comes from an obviously libertine background because her mother belonged to a fertility cult. I’m indebted to Bridget Powers (Bridget the Midget) because I try imagining the world through her eyes. She had to know she would never be of standard beauty—no long legs for her, but I suspect she learned she could operate a penis, pretty well. I’m curious as to whether lesbian dwarfs exist because a woman typically can’t how much they sexually want a person, women can fake it, but I’m sure Bridget knew when a penis found her sexually alluring and that has to be a confidence booster. A penis tends to have a very honest reaction.

Making her a sixteen-year-old girl, living in such a Libertine structure, was the toughest thing to do. Reading about Djuna Barnes creeped me out—that grandma thing was mind-boggling. Joaquin Phoenix and his siblings grew op in a cult, but I haven’t read any of their memoirs but I suspect they have a few doozies. Commodus is an ancestor of my dwarf, and coincidentally Joaquin played Commodus in the movie, Gladiator. My interest in the Phoenix family has to do with their Florida connection, but Kismet appeared to line things up for me.

Summoning the Conquistador’s Daughter

Yes, that’s a dwarf but dwarfs rode with the conquistadors. One was a singer who came to Florida.with Pedro Menendez This will be difficult to explain, but a fictional daughter of the dwarf singer will be who I summon for my cult’s séance.

I chose the image above because of the name that I will give my character. The fictional biography will be difficult to weave into the story, but I’m actually building upon something I already started. When I did my setup piece, I didn’t know how I would depict the rest. It just took a long time to translate what my muse was saying.

Respect the Dwarf

The dwarf stands tall in history and myth. Seneb shown with his wife (top left) five you and idea about how much respect the dwarf got in Egypt. Wrocław’s dwarfs (top right) acted as a symbol for an underground protest called the Orange Alternative movement, you can find many spread out through Wrocław, Poland. Several cultures in the Americas saw a connection between dwarfs and gods; the bottom picture shows Olmec respect. The dwarf often acts as an earth and fertility deity; hence, their role in my book’s fertility cult. I joke about the human race and I treat the dwarf with the same respect that I do the rest of humanity. I often feel bad about it because a dwarf may stand taller than the rest of humanity due to the alternative perspective.

Wrong Package?

For some, their personality doesn’t fit their stature. Peter Dinklage, shown with his wife (bottom right), portrayed a wrong fit in, The Station Agent. Pornstar, Bridget Powers (top left) embraces the freak. We don’t know how Morgante (bottom left) felt, but his job, caring for of the owl and other falconry, does show a possible sign of respect. Martin Klebba (top right) plays a pirate, but most don’t know dwarfs sailed with conquistadors and a dwarf pirate does sound likely because sailors prayed to dwarf gods. If someone made a movie from my book Meredith Eaton (top right) would be my She-it even though Bridget Powers embraces the role more. Freak means, “not the norm,” to me and I do feel for the ones that can’t embrace the freak. I do see the ethical problems with exploitation, but my history research took me to dwarfs and I saw the value in little people.
